Lazy Tuesday afternoons spent idly.
Treadmill life: always run, never moving.
Library life: borrowed time, never bought.
What if it was all okay, this great life?
I think it’d be nice. I would smile twice
to know I could breathe with no trouble, yes.
I must say yes. Or be crushed. Don’t forget –
We can be those shining bright lights looking,
twinkling in the dark night sky. Ask me why
on this lazy Tuesday, but evening now.
Cue Nature’s transition, though the sky’s grey.
It still is, but not fooling anyone.
Tomorrow the pleasant sun will come out.
